Last night Weston and I went to The Forgotten Carols with his parents and Braden. I go every year because it gets me in the Christmas spirit, and I don't mean in the mood to shop and decorate. The story and music that Michael McLean wrote encompass the true meaning of Christmas. The world wants to make Christmas all about the material things, and we tend to forget what we are really celebrating. It's not Santa and gift giving, but it's about the greatest gift ever given--Christ and His Atonement. Don't get me wrong, I love giving and receiving gifts, but it's always nice to reflect upon the real reason for the season.
