But seriously...I have never seen such huge rodeo festivities EVER! Picture this--three weeks of carnivals, mutton bustin', livestock show, camel rides, rodeo, concerts, and fried anything you could ever imagine. That, my friends, is the Houston rodeo. Weston and I bought tickets to the rodeo and Rascal Flatts, but we went to Utah instead, so today we moseyed on over to the Reliant Center to see what all the fuss was about. We weren't disappointed!
We saw cows

Hungry baby piggies (poor mama!)

Hatching chicks

Honey Bees

AAAAAND! a LONGHORN! it was so big and it's horns were massive!

I'm pretty sure my favorite part of the whole experience was the fried snickers I ate. It was so fattening and greasy, but oh so delicious!

If you want to experience Texas culture at it's finest, come visit us next March! We will definitely be going back to the Houston rodeo next year.

agh, I wanted to find that fried place but didn't know where it was. We have to go back just to go there. What a rodeo!
Fun! I think we're gonna go sometime this weekend. After reading this, I think I'm definitely gonna go for the friend snickers!
It is so fun to read your blog! Thanks for all the great updates. Was that a batter around the snickers? Seriously?
Seriously, Long Horns are the coolest!
Looks like lots of fun :)
