Pictures at the Perk

**Sidenote: if you haven't watched the YouTube video "Peter at the Perk" you should. Weston didn't think it was funny, but I thought it was pretty hilarious.

Anyway, for Mothers Day Weston got me (or agreed to let me get) a new lens for the camera. I was so excited to go take some pictures because it was supposed to come today, but, alas, our mailman never showed. I was set on getting some pictures on this beautifully cloudy day, though, so Jackson and I went to our favorite park.
Jackson was way more interested in everything around him to look at the camera.

Tis the season for baby ducklings and these guys were definitely not shy! Good thing their mama was never far away keeping a watchful eye.

Jackson was definitely intrigued

Hopefully the next pictures I post will be taken with my new lens! SO EXCITED!

Hi Nicole! Okay - so I have sounded like you for the past few weeks. I keep trying to come up with reasons or holidays or anything I can think to get a new lens. Lenses really make a difference so I am excited to see the difference once you get it. I have been looking at a couple of lenses and was wondering which one you decided to get?

I am so impressed with your photography and blogging skills. well done. I am just excited to have Daniels camera back from a friend. His isn't new but it isn't as old as mine and it is much better. It will even let me take video for more than 20 seconds. wow
