To Live Would Be An Awfully Big Adventure
Last night, during one of our pillow talk sessions, the hubs and I got talking about the future--where we'll live, what we want our kids to be like, how we plan to parent, etc. There are few certainties in life, and I don't know what our family's future holds, but what I do know is I love my man and my little boy. Like the day is long, I love them, and thinking about the future I have with them makes me the happiest girl in the world. I mean really, what more do I need? I'm married to my best friend, we live in a cute little condo, we have great friends and family, and our little boy is just a joy. Sure, we have our problems, trials, and rough days, but, as far as I'm concerned, my life is perfect, and I am so grateful for everything that I've been blessed with. At the beginning of college, if you would have asked me what my life would be like right now, I never would have thought I'd be married to Weston (who I knew freshman year, but never really thought about dating) and living in Houston (Texas? Really?), but lucky for me God knows what he's doing and led me down the right path. It's funny how life happens that way. The future is a mystery--a big, exciting adventure that I can't wait to go on!
