We've been with family for the past week or so and it has been SO much fun! Jackson gets tons of attention and mommy gets a break :) We went to Bear Lake with Weston's family last week, and Jackson had a blast. He loved playing in the sand and cold water and, of course, riding in grandpa's boat. This week we're in Vegas with my family. I'm sure Jackson is going to get very spoiled while we're with family, and I'm going to have a hard time giving him enough attention when we get home.
At 10 months Jackson:
-is finally crawling like a normal baby! He started while we were up in Bear Lake, and he's getting pretty fast.
-is starting to be a little more stable while standing. He can stand for a few seconds on his own, but thinks it's so fun to fall over and have mom catch him.
-LOVES the water. He is not afraid at all, and while we were at the lake he kept trying to crawl out into the deep water. He didn't care that the water was freezing cold and he had about a pound of sand in his diaper.
-had his first experience with the flu. The night before we left for Utah he woke up in the middle of the night covered in throw up. He threw up a few more times that night and had the runs all day the next day (awesome while flying). We thought it was something he ate, but the next day I had it, then Weston, then pretty much the whole family had it while we were at Bear Lake. Sorry guys!
-thinks dogs are the funniest things in the world! My mom's dogs don't really like him because he pulls their fur, but he chases them around the house and laughs and laughs when they bark at him.
-is so curious. I'm sure he will destroy both grandma's houses while we're here because he is into EVERYTHING. Mostly he likes to grab things, bang them on the ground a couple times, then throw them.
-still has no teeth.
I really can't say enough how fun this little guy is. He makes everyone around him smile and instantly fall in love with him. I can't believe that in two months he will be a year old!

Jackson is so cute! I love his eyes. I can't believe our boys will be 1 in just two months. Crazy how fast this year has gone.
