Halloween was one of my favorite holidays when I was younger. There's just something about the crisp fall weather, fun Halloween decorations, and spooky shows on t.v. that got me so excited! Last year, Jackson was teeny and not aware of much, but this year we had so much fun with all the Halloween festivities (even though he has had a fever all weekend, poor baby). We went to our ward's trunk or treat on Saturday. There was a great turn out and a lot of creative costumes!
The Ellsworths were crayons
The Brames were Salt and Pepper
Since Jackson was a dinosaur, Weston and I wanted to do something that went with his costume (ok I wanted to do something that went with his costume). We decided Jurassic Park would be the easiest, so we went to Goodwill and got our costumes. Well, everyone ended up thinking Jackson was a dragon, so Weston and I just looked like we had really really bad fashion sense (high socks with tennis shoes, really frumpy cargo shorts, etc). Next year I will have to get more creative so we don't look stupid.
Nice, huh? The worst part is, I'm sure the people we didn't know thought I really dressed like this.
Oh well, at least Jackson looked cute.
Tonight we went to a fun Halloween party and ate lots of yummy food.
In the spirit of trick or treating, here is Jackson with a few of his new tricks...

so cute! I would totally have gotten it. You look very jurassic park. Jackson is such a little stud.
oh my gosh. i am laughing so hard! ha! but in your defense, he totally looks like a dinosaur--and you totally look like you're hunting dinosaurs :)
I watched your videos and Jackson is SO cute! The baby elephant thing kills me. Way to go on the walking. I'm trying hard to help Sophie get up the nerve, but I'm not having much luck.
