Anyway, we spent a wonderful, fun-filled Thanksgiving with some friends from the ward. The Ellsworths made a fantastic turkey, and it was nice to have people to spend the holiday with since we were away from family. Sadly, I don't have any pictures from that day. I know, lame.
Last weekend, while talking to my friends Kim and Amelia, they mentioned that they were going to go get Christmas trees. I told them that Weston didn't want to get one this year since Jackson is too small to appreciate it, and we aren't going to be here for Christmas. Apparently they thought this was unacceptable because later that night I was scared to death by a loud knock on the door. When Weston opened it (after I almost convinced him not to because I thought it was someone waiting to kill us) we found this note:
On Black Friday, Weston and I decided to head on down to Hobby Lobby to see what kind of deals they were having. Much to our delight we found that most things in the store were 50% off! woo hoo! We have been wanting to put some wall decor in our living room, but didn't want to spend the money to do it, so this was the perfect time to do it. We found some great stuff. I also have been wanting to finally finish Jackson's nursery since my craftiness comes and goes and I haven't made it very cute yet. I got some letters to spell his name and some scrap book paper and this was the result:
And now for some super cute pictures of our super cute baby!

What a stud! Jackson's growing up quick! Lovely tree, by the way.

im doing well, thanks. getting a little more sleep each night :) how about you? how texas?
Well, I make her do tummy time about 3 times a day and she only lasts like 5 minutes. Even if she cries a lot I still make her do it at least a couple minutes. She's got to build those muscles somehow!! Jackson is such a cutie! I love the video of him in his playmat.
