We're Baaaaack!

After a month of fun-filled adventures in Utah and Vegas we're back in Houston. Being gone for so long actually made me appreciate being back in Houston. I definitely miss being with family though, and I'm pretty sure Jackson misses all the attention. We had so much fun while we were gone, but sadly I was really good at taking pictures for other people and really bad at taking pictures for myself. I really need to work on that.

The first week of our fantastic vacation was spent with Weston's family up at Bear Lake. It was a blast! We stayed in a cabin with a gorgeous view of the lake, spent our days boating, wakeboarding, and swimming, and spent our nights playing games. Jackson loved the water so much. We would put him down in the sand and he would just start crawling out to sea. I can't wait until we can get him into some swim lessons. Watch out Michael Phelps! He also loved riding in Grandpa's boat. It always put him right to sleep.

After Bear Lake we drove down to Vegas to spend some time with my family. It was so relaxing! We hung by the pool, ate some good food, and read a ton! Weston had to leave after a few days, but I stayed another week. It was great to see my family and some high school/college friends that I haven't seen in a long time. Jackson's favorite part of being in Vegas was chasing my parents' dogs around.

After that it was back to Utah for Weston's brother's wedding. I was there for about a week before Weston got back so I got to see even more old friends. I went up to BYU campus to meet a friend and realized that I really want to go back to school! Now I just need to figure out where to get the money...oh well, maybe some day! Brett's wedding was BEAUTIFUL! They had the reception at Sundance, and it was so much fun.

Now we're home, and it's back to reality. Next on the agenda is planning Jackson's 1st birthday! Can you believe it?? Next month my baby will be 1. He's just growing up way too fast!
