Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving this year was packed full of fun activities. We had a ton of fun, and started some new traditions!
To start off the day, Amelia and I ran the Turkey Trot 10K. It was a huge race! There were 10,000 people who ran the 10K and 5K. It was so much fun, and I think we'll try to do a race every Thanksgiving (maybe just the 5K).
For some reason, this is the best picture Weston got of us starting the race.

And here I am finishing. Not real sure what I'm doing here...

I wish our timing chips had worked so I had official results, but when I crossed the finish line, the clock said 56:06. I wanted to finish in under an hour so woo hoo!
We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year so I decided to make some cute decorations and place settings.

I filled these boxes full of candied nuts that Weston made.

Dinner was fantastic! Everyone did a great job, and we were all stuffed by the end.
After dinner, we headed over to the Galleria where they lit a whole street of trees and had a great fireworks show. It got really cold and started raining right when we got there, but it was worth it. Jackson was completely in awe of the fireworks. This will be another yearly activity for us (well at least until we leave Houston).
And here is our cute little boogie drinking his beverage of choice Thanksgiving morning.

In case you're still wondering how you did, I found the results for the 10k (FINALLY!). Here's the link: http://eztoregister.com/assets/TXU10K.HTM
